IPAQ World

So I have introduced myself to the world of PDAs, Pocket PCs, IPAQs! My new toy is the HP hx4700 - 4" VGA screen, 624MHz processor, CF and SD card slots, built-in wireless and bluetooth, and here on known as "Buddy". He he!
Buddy has become very useful around the house. Internet, email, and skype right from the most comfortable reclining position on the sofa. Of course, I'm still trying to learn exactly how to get the best out of Buddy... it's been two weeks and I'm still deciding on a case!
The interesting part is discovering a whole new world of the internet that I didn't know existed - Pocket PC land! Common webpages and resources have a PPC version to format the page more suitably, for those that don't there's other pages that will format them for you. There are a few things I'm still "learning" about... since I've decided to dedicate this page to positive, non-problem related things only, I will only mention them when I learn them!!

I've heard about Skype but don't know much about it... have you used it with Buddy?

yeah i've used skype on Buddy - works quite well. There is a pocket version of skype especially. You can't really do anything else while a phonecall is up (too slow), but thats ok. highly recommend skype though, if you have BB and make long distance calls!

Yep, with internet calls being free, and calls to landlines only costing 3 cents per minute, it can't be beat. Right?

P.S... your Cool Running link is not working... you've got one too many "n"'s in the name!

You're making me feel depressed. Do you have nothing positive to write about? lol :-)
